Long Time No Speak & An Announcement With Updates

Hi everyone!
I’m well aware that it’s been nearly 3 months since my last post. I have to confess that a huge part of it was that production for Season 2 of this podcast took up way more time than I had anticipated. I was also juggling another podcast (which I have now discontinued). I was stretched thin and not all of the tasks I wanted to achieve was done in a timely fashion.
So I have gone on a holiday-oriented hiatus and I’ll be back with the next episode on January 8th. I’m pretty excited as we’re going to go even further past where House of the Dragon will eventually end. We inch ever closer to why Daenaerys grew up as an exile in Essos. I’m pretty excited to get into these upcoming episodes.
Among the episodes I’m doing in the new year will include some spoilers for the upcoming A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms series. I hope you guys are just as eager for the upcoming episodes I am!
So what is the announcement?
I had originally created a newsletter on Convertkit (now rebranded as Kit) to try to get listeners to sign up and act as a way to share news about this podcast and other interesting content. Partially because I haven’t been really writing much as I could, but also partially because no one signed up, I decided to move to Substack.
I’m very grateful that 3 of you have signed up and stuck by me thus far. I decided that I’m going to give Substack another try for the next few months. If I can get more followers I’ll keep the newsletter here on Substack. However if I can’t get momentum from listeners to sign up, I might give Kit another shot.
